Act 258 of 1974

330.1820 Spouse's ability to pay.

Sec. 820.

Except with respect to inpatient psychiatric services of less than 61 days, the department or a community mental health services program shall determine a spouse's ability to pay for the first 730 days of inpatient or residential services during the individual's lifetime. After the first 730 days, the department or community mental health services program shall determine ability to pay solely for the individual.
