LIVING CARE DISCLOSURE ACT (EXCERPT)
Act 440 of 1976

554.813 Conservators or guardians.

Sec. 13.

If a resident becomes mentally or physically incapacitated and is unable to handle his own personal or financial affairs, the facility may petition a court of competent jurisdiction to appoint an independent conservator or guardian.
