720.654 Referendum.

Sec. 4.

The board of trustees of the recommended district shall have the authority to submit the question to the voters of 1 or more contiguous counties, consisting of the counties comprising the recommended district, at any state general election or county-wide primary election, as to whether the regional juvenile detention home district should be created and the voters of the district shall be given the opportunity to vote “yes” or “no” on the approval of the district.
