DISPOSITION OF FILES AND PAPERS RELATING TO PROSECUTIONS (EXCERPT)
Act 66 of 1949

780.223 Files and papers in criminal cases; period to be filed, destruction.

Sec. 3.

All files and papers relating to prosecutions for offenses arising under any law of this state in any municipal court shall be filed for 10 years from the date of sentence, acquittal, dismissal or other final action by the court in the cause, and may then be destroyed to such extent as is ordered by the court.
