772.10 Appellate court to affirm order, discharge appellant, or require appellant to enter into new recognizance; costs.

Sec. 10.

The circuit court or the recorder's court of the city of Detroit, before which the appeal is taken may affirm the order of the judge, discharge the appellant, or require the appellant to enter into a new recognizance with sufficient sureties in a sum and for a period not exceeding 5 years, as the appellate court considers proper. The circuit court or recorder's court of the city of Detroit also may order the payment of the costs of the prosecution as the court considers just.
