§ 27-31-87. State Tax Commission to furnish documentary stamps [Repealed effective January 1, 2009].
 

The State Tax Commission of the State of Mississippi shall cause to be prepared and distributed to the various chancery clerks in said state, for use as prescribed herein, suitable stamps denoted as documentary stamps which shall be furnished to the chancery clerks at actual cost and a record kept of all stamps furnished. Said clerks shall be accountable for all such stamps received by them or the face amount of such stamps disposed of as provided herein or otherwise not in their possession.
