§ 27-33-49. Duties of the attorney general.
 

The attorney general of the state shall be the attorney for the commission and shall represent it in any proceedings before any court. In any hearing before the commission, where the services of an attorney are desired or needed, the attorney general shall attend on behalf of the commission. The attorney general shall construe any doubtful or conflicting provisions of this article, and his opinion shall be controlling on all officers.
