§ 27-41-85. Liability and actions for trespass or waste on lands forfeited to state; special counsel.
 

The attorney general, by and with the consent of the governor, may employ special counsel to assist him in the investigation and prosecution of such claims or demands and suits under Section 27-41-83; and he may contract to pay such attorneys so employed such reasonable compensation as may be agreed upon, not to exceed twenty per cent of the amount recovered and collected.
