Shall prosecute for injuries.

8.170. The director shall prosecute, in the name of thestate, for all trespasses and injuries of every kind done to thepublic buildings and other property, and shall attend to thesuits relative to the same. The attorney general shall givecounsel, or prosecute suits, when required by the director.
