Sale of perishable property--when and by whom ordered, how made.

521.270. When property shall be actually seized which islikely to perish or depreciate in value before the probabletermination of the suit, or the keeping of which would beattended with much loss or expense, the court may order the sameto be sold by the officer having charge of the property, and areturn of the proceedings thereon to be made by the officer at atime to be fixed therein, and the sale shall be conducted in likemanner, as near as may be, as sales of goods under writs of fierifacias.
