Personal service or appearance, effect of--property of defendant, howaffected by judgment and execution.

521.360. When the defendant has been served with the writ,or appears to the action, the proceedings in the cause shall bethe same as in actions instituted by summons only, and thejudgment and execution shall hold, not only the propertyattached, but the other property of the defendant.
