Verdict and judgment.

522.230. In every such action, if the plaintiff recover, theverdict assessing the damages shall be entered on the record, andjudgment shall be rendered for the penalty of the bond, or forthe penal sum forfeited, as in other actions, together with costsof suit, and with a further judgment that the plaintiff haveexecution for the damages so assessed, which damages shall bespecified in the judgment.
