Compensation of sheriff.

528.610. As a compensation for his services in making a saleof real estate under the provisions of this chapter by order ofcourt for the purpose of partition, the sheriff shall receive acommission on the amount of sales not exceeding two percent onthe first one thousand dollars, and one percent on all sums overthat amount and under five thousand dollars, and one-half of onepercent on all sums over that amount.
