Penalty for refusing copy of process.

532.630. Any officer or other person having the custody ofany prisoner committed on any civil or criminal process, whoshall refuse to give such prisoner a copy of the process, orderor commitment, by virtue of which the person is held or detained,within six hours after the demand by the prisoner, or anyone onhis behalf, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shallalso forfeit to the party aggrieved five hundred dollars.
