Clerk of grand jury, appointment.

540.100. Every grand jury may appoint one of their number tobe a clerk thereof, to preserve minutes of their proceedings andof the evidence given before them. The minutes shall be given tothe prosecuting or circuit attorney when the grand jury isdischarged from further service.
