Recognizances.

544.050. All recognizances required or authorized to betaken in any criminal proceedings in open court, by any court ofrecord, shall be entered on the minutes of such court and thesubstance thereof shall be read to the person recognized. Allother recognizances in any criminal matter or proceeding, or inany proceeding of a similar nature, shall be in writing and shallbe subscribed by the parties to be bound thereby.
