544.570. Every recognizance or other conditions for releaseas provided in section 544.455 taken by any sheriff or otherofficer must be certified and returned by him forthwith to theclerk of the court to which the defendant is recognized, and bysuch clerk carefully filed and preserved for the action of thecourt thereon.
