Application for change of venue, when made.

545.470. No order for the removal of any cause shall be madeon the application of the defendant for the causes specified insections 545.430 and 545.450, unless such application be madeduring the term of the court at which the indictment is found;provided, said defendant be in custody or on recognizance, and ifnot so in custody or held to bail, then the application may bemade at or before the first term after the defendant shall havebeen arrested, and not thereafter except as provided for insection 545.480.
