Executions shall issue, when.

546.870. It shall be the duty of the clerk of the courthaving criminal jurisdiction for the county at the end of eachterm, to issue executions for all fines imposed, and the costs ofconviction in criminal cases, during the term and remainingunpaid, which shall be executed in the same manner as executionsin civil cases; and the property of the defendant may be seizedand sold thereon, notwithstanding he may be in custody for thesame demand.
