Ordinances to conform to state law.

71.010. Any municipal corporation in this state, whetherunder general or special charter, and having authority to passordinances regulating subjects, matters and things upon whichthere is a general law of the state, unless otherwise prescribedor authorized by some special provision of its charter, shallconfine and restrict its jurisdiction and the passage of itsordinances to and in conformity with the state law upon the samesubject.
