Qualifications of mayor.

77.230. No person shall be mayor unless he be at leastthirty years of age, a citizen of the United States and aresident of such city at the time of and for two years nextpreceding his election. When two or more persons shall have anequal number of votes for the office of mayor, the matter shallbe determined by the council.
