Election of officers.

79.030. An election for the elective officers of each cityof the fourth class shall be held after the organization of suchcity under the provisions of this chapter, and on municipalelection days every two years thereafter, except that cities mayprovide by ordinance that beginning with the election of acollector after January 1, 1990, collectors shall be electedevery four years.
