Appointed officers--bond.

80.250. Every constable, marshal, collector and treasurerappointed by virtue of section 80.240 shall, before he enters onthe duties of his office, enter into bond, payable to the city ortown of which he is an officer, with good and sufficientsecurities, in any sum not less than one thousand dollars, theamount to be fixed and the bond to be approved by the board oftrustees. The bond shall be conditioned that he will faithfullyperform the duties of his office according to law.
