Street and sidewalk commissioner (special charter cities under10,000).

81.040. The council of any such city or town mentioned insection 88.804, RSMo, may provide by ordinance for theappointment by the council of a street and sidewalk commissioner,which may be made by ordinance a separate office, and he shallgive bond as such for the faithful discharge of such duties asthe council may by ordinance or entry of record prescribe, andfix his compensation.
