Police commissioners, members of force--forfeiture of office (KansasCity).

84.400. Any one of said commissioners so appointed or anymember of any such police force who, during the term of hisoffice, shall accept any other place of public trust, oremolument, or who shall knowingly receive any nomination for anoffice elective by the people, and shall fail to decline suchnomination publicly within the five days succeeding suchnomination or shall become a candidate for the nomination for anyoffice at the hands of any political party, shall be deemed tohave thereby forfeited and vacated office as such commissioner ormember of such police force.
