Rewards and gifts to pension fund.

87.030. All rewards in money, fees, gifts and endowmentsthat may be paid or given for or on account of extraordinaryservices by said fire department or any member thereof, exceptwhen permitted by order of the board to be retained by saidmember, may be paid into said pension fund. The said board oftrustees may take by gift, grant, devise or bequest any money,real estate, personal property, right of property, or othervaluable thing, and the same shall be treated as a part of andfor the uses of said fund.
