Sidewalk maintenance by city (cities, 30,000 or less).
88.883. The city council may, by ordinance, provide for therepairing or reconstruction of any sidewalk by the city engineeror other proper person designated in said ordinance, paying thecost thereof as provided in section 88.880, and may assess andlevy the cost thereof as a special assessment, as in sections88.863 to 88.880 provided.
