Bonds may be issued.

95.405. The board of aldermen of any city of the fourthclass may issue bonds for the erection or purchase of publicbuildings, bridges, waterworks, electric light plants and iceplants, public parks, and other improvements, and for theestablishment and maintenance of a fire department, in the mannerand within the limits provided by sections 95.120 to 95.160.
