Attorney, duties of (third class cities).

98.330. It shall be the duty of the city attorney to prosecute anddefend all actions originating or pending in any court in this state towhich the city is a party, or in which the interests of the city areinvolved, and shall, generally, perform all legal services required inbehalf of the city.
