77-1340.01. Transfer of assessment function; county maintain facilities.When a transfer of the assessment function has been made pursuant to section 77-1340, the county shall maintain, at no additional cost to the state, office and service facilities used for the office of the county assessor and assessment functions as such facilities existed at the time of the county board resolution authorizing a transfer. All furniture, computers, and equipment used by the county to perform the assessment function prior to the transfer shall remain the property of the county. All books, files, and similar records shall be transferred to the Property Tax Administrator.
