The Commissioner may order andimpose civil penalties upon any person required to be licensed under thisArticle for violations of this Article or rules adopted thereunder. Civilpenalties shall not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per violation. Allcivil money penalties collected under this Article shall be paid to the countyschool fund. The Commissioner may also order repayment of unlawful or excessivefees charged to customers. (1997‑391, s. 1.)
