§ 7B‑309.  Immunity ofpersons reporting and cooperating in an assessment.

Anyone who makes a reportpursuant to this Article, cooperates with the county department of socialservices in a protective services assessment, testifies in any judicialproceeding resulting from a protective services report or assessment, orotherwise participates in the program authorized by this Article, is immunefrom any civil or criminal liability that might otherwise be incurred orimposed for that action provided that the person was acting in good faith.
