Section 45-8A-112.15

Civil Service Board - Compensation and expenses.

The compensation and all other expenses of the board arising under the provisions of this part shall be paid from funds of the city on the order of the board in the same manner as other city salaries and expenses are paid, provided, however, that the total expenditures in any one year shall not exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) without the approval of the city governing body. The city governing body shall provide the board an office in the city hall, which shall be suitably equipped and furnished for the needs of the board, and telephone service, postage, office supplies, and stationery.
