Statutes > Alaska > Title-11 > Chapter-11-56 > Article-05 > Sec-11-56-840(a) A person commits the crime of failure to register as a sex offender or child kidnapper in the second degree if the person fails, as required by AS 12.63.010 , to
(1) register;
(2) file written notice of
(A) change of residence;
(B) change of mailing address;
(C) establishment of an electronic or messaging address or any change to an electronic or messaging address; or
(D) establishment of an Internet communication identifier or any change to an Internet communication identifier;
(3) file the annual or quarterly written verification; or
(4) supply accurate and complete information required to be submitted under (1) - (3) of this subsection.
(b) Failure to register as a sex offender or child kidnapper in the second degree is a class A misdemeanor.
