10-3-1108. Employment of architect.

The Joint Interim Committee on Legislative Facilities shall have the authority to employ an architect to prepare plans and specifications for the work to be done, to supervise the construction, and to furnish other architectural services which the committee may require in the performance of its duties, and for that purpose the committee may enter into contracts with the architect. The fee which may be paid the architect shall not exceed nine percent (9%) of the cost of the project. Any contract shall provide that the architect shall furnish without additional cost to the state such services as may be required in the performance of the work.
