27-65-130. Bonds -- Commissioner and director.

(a) Each commissioner shall give bond, as required by law.

(b) Upon appointment, the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department shall execute a bond to the State of Arkansas in the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for faithful performance of his duties.

(c) The premium on these bonds shall be paid out of the State Treasury from the annual appropriation for the commission.
