SECTION 45460



45460.  The third full week in May is designated as Classified
School Employee Week.
   All public schools shall annually observe that week in recognition
of classified school employees and the contributions they make to
the educational community. The observances required by this section
shall be integrated into the regular school program.
   This section shall apply to all schools under the jurisdiction of
any school district or county board of education that has adopted the
merit system in the same manner and effect as if it were a part of
Article 6 (commencing with Section 45240), as well as to schools
under the jurisdiction of any school district or county board of
education that has not adopted the merit system.
