SECTION 18000




18000.  The Legislature finds and declares the following:
 (a) Facilitating the recycling of plastics is in the best
interests of the state.
 (b) This division is intended to require all plastic products sold
in California on and after January 1, 1992, to have a molded label
indicating the plastic resin used to produce the product.
