SECTION 2300




2300.  Before the appointment of a guardian or conservator is
effective, the guardian or conservator shall:
 (a) Take an oath to perform the duties of the office according to
law, which oath shall be attached to or endorsed upon the letters.
 (b) File the required bond if a bond is required.
