SECTION 103260-103265



103260.  The board shall adopt a general transit plan for the
district.


103261.  The general transit plan, or any element or amendment
thereof, shall be adopted in the manner provided in this article.



103262.  The general manager shall submit the proposed plan, or an
element or amendment thereof, to the board which shall hold a public
hearing thereon. Notice of the time and place of the hearing shall be
given at least 30 days before the hearing. The notice shall be
published pursuant to Section 6061 of the Government Code, and
written notice shall also be mailed to each city council in the
county. The hearing may be continued from time to time.



103263.  The adoption of the general plan, or an element or
amendment thereof, including any changes or additions, shall be by
resolution of the board.


103264.  The district may adopt official plan lines based on the
adopted general plan designating the precise location of planned
rights-of-way of transit works and facilities. Official plan lines
shall be adopted in the same manner as required for the adoption of
the general plan.



103265.  The provisions of Article 5 (commencing with Section
53090), Chapter 1, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code
shall not be applicable to the district.
