      Sec. 15-77. Operating under or carrying passengers under influence of liquor or drugs. No person shall operate or attempt to operate any aircraft on the ground or in the air while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or of any drug. No person shall operate or attempt to operate any aircraft on the ground or in the air carrying passengers who are under the influence of intoxicating liquor or of any drug. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than sixty days or both, for a first offense, and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than one year or both, upon any subsequent conviction of a violation of this section.
