      Sec. 17a-210b. Finding of mental retardation not precluded by school or medical records. The absence of a diagnosis of, or reference to, mental retardation, intellectual disability or developmental disability within an individual's school records or medical records shall not preclude the Department of Developmental Services from making a finding of mental retardation, as defined in section 1-1g.

      History: Pursuant to P.A. 07-73 "Department of Mental Retardation" was changed editorially by the Revisors to "Department of Developmental Services", effective October 1, 2007.
