      Sec. 23-10. Development of recreational areas. The Commissioner of Environmental Protection may develop recreational areas or picnic areas for public use and may erect other structures in the state parks and forests within the limitations of any funds specifically appropriated therefor, provided such appropriations shall be expended on state-owned property.

      History: 1971 act replaced references to state park and forest commission with references to environmental protection commissioner; P.A. 96-180 changed "Said commissioner" to "The Commissioner of Environmental Protection", effective June 3, 1996.
