      Sec. 25-121. Appointment of commission member. On or before May 1, 1975, and quadrennially thereafter, the Governor shall appoint one person from this state to serve on the Northeastern Resources Commission and the term of such office shall commence on the first day of July following the appointment. A commission member shall serve until his successor is appointed and has qualified, and any vacancy in such office shall be filled by the Governor for the unexpired portion of the term. Such commission member shall serve as the representative of the state of Connecticut on said commission and shall have the powers and duties provided in section 25-120.
