      Sec. 29-1p. Determination of genuine terrorist threat. (a) The Commissioner of Public Safety may assess threats to public safety to determine when a threat qualifies as a genuine terrorist threat. The commissioner may consult with whatever agencies or officials the commissioner deems appropriate for such evaluation.

      (b) When the Commissioner of Public Safety determines that there is a genuine terrorist threat, the commissioner shall immediately notify the Commissioner of Emergency Management and Homeland Security of such threat.
