      Sec. 42a-7-703. Applicability. This article and other provisions of this title, as amended by public act 04-64*, apply to a document of title that is issued or a bailment that arises on or after October 1, 2004. This article and other provisions of this title, as amended by public act 04-64*, do not apply to a document of title that is issued or a bailment that arises before October 1, 2004, even if the document of title or bailment would be subject to this article and other provisions of this title, as amended by public act 04-64*, if the document of title had been issued or bailment had arisen on or after October 1, 2004. This article and other provisions of this title, as amended by public act 04-64*, do not apply to a right of action that has accrued before October 1, 2004.
