Statutes > Connecticut > Title45a > Chap802h > Sec45a-624aSec. 45a-624a. Consent of parents required for designation of standby guardian. If both parents are alive, both parents of the minor shall consent to the designation of a standby guardian, unless either parent has been removed as guardian or had his parental rights terminated. In any such event, the remaining parent may designate a standby guardian pursuant to sections 45a-624 to 45a-624g, inclusive.
