      Sec. 49-91. Certificate of removal of lien. In any proceeding wherein a lien has been filed pursuant to the provisions of section 49-86, if the plaintiff therein has received satisfaction for his claim, or final judgment has been rendered against him thereon, or when for any reason the lien has become of no effect, the plaintiff or his attorney, at the request of any person interested in the estate liened or in having the lien removed, shall lodge a certificate with the town clerk that the lien is removed. Each such certificate shall be recorded at length in a book kept for that purpose by the clerk as a part of the land records of the town wherein the property affected by the release is located or wherein the notice of lien was filed.
