      Sec. 4d-11. (Formerly Sec. 16a-114). State agency appropriations and expenditures for information and telecommunication systems. The Chief Information Officer shall establish a procedure for the preparation by state agencies of plans and estimates of expenditure requirements for information and telecommunication systems, for consideration for inclusion in the Governor's budget document. On February 1, 1998, and annually thereafter, the Chief Information Officer shall submit to the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management a report which sets forth the appropriation to each state agency, for the fiscal year in progress, for information and telecommunication systems and the actual expenditures for such systems by each such agency as of December thirty-first of such fiscal year. On August 1, 1997, and annually thereafter, the Chief Information Officer shall submit to the secretary such report with respect to the last completed fiscal year.

      History: June 18 Sp. Sess. P.A. 97-9 required Chief Information Officer, instead of Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, to establish procedure for agency preparation of plans and estimates of expenditure requirements, repealed provisions re schedule for agency preparation of such plans and estimates, required Chief Information Officer, instead of executive director of Office of Information and Technology, to submit reports to Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, and updated reporting provisions, effective July 1, 1997; Sec. 16a-114 transferred to Sec. 4d-11 in 1999.
