255.563 Rules; 1Department of Labor and Employment Security.

The 1Department of Labor and Employment Security shall adopt all rules relating to asbestos in public buildings reasonably necessary to implement the provisions of ss. 255.551-255.565. In developing the rules, the department shall consider the criteria established in the Asbestos Identification and Remediation Plan dated January 1, 1987, and issued pursuant to chapter 86-135, Laws of Florida; Environmental Protection Agency guidelines; AHERA; National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants; and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
